At 7,407 yards from the tips, the course demands accurate driving to keep the ball on the correct side of the many water margins. The greens are consistent with SCC's well-resourced maintenance standard across all four courses and are noted for firm, true surfaces. The 2014 vintage means the course has had over a decade to mature but remains one of the newer championship layouts in the eastern region.

Location & getting there
Siam Country Club Waterside is located within the SCC Pattaya complex in Pong, Banglamung, Chonburi — approximately 140km southeast of central Bangkok, or around 20 minutes from central Pattaya city by car. The drive from Bangkok takes around 100 minutes via the Bang Na–Trat Expressway (Highway 7). SCC provides in-house transfers from Pattaya hotels; golf agents handling SCC bookings also arrange transport from Bangkok and Pattaya.
