Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course
Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course is one of Thailand's best-kept secrets — an 18-hole, par 72 EGAT government course at the Rajjaprabha Dam in Ban Ta Khun District, Surat Thani, on the edge of Khao Sok National Park. Opened in 2000 and operated by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, it follows the same pattern as Ubolratana Dam in Khon Kaen: a government agency course open to civilian golfers at unusually low prices. For foreign visitors the green fee is approximately 1,000 THB (dual pricing applies — Thai nationals pay around half that on weekdays), with caddie (300 THB) and cart (600 THB) available separately. The setting beside the Cheow Lan reservoir in the Khao Sok highlands makes this one of the most visually spectacular government courses in Thailand, with a hilly layout overlooking the dam and its surrounding jungle. Club rental is available at 700 THB per set.

Santiburi Samui Country Club is the only championship golf course on Koh Samui — an 18-hole, par 72 layout designed by Edward Thiele and Pirapon Namatra and opened in 2003 on the hills above the island's northern Mae Nam coast. The course hosted the 2006 Bangkok Airways Open and remains the standard-bearer for golf in the Gulf of Thailand islands, drawing visitors from Koh Samui's international resort hotels and golfers making dedicated trips from Bangkok and Phuket. The mountainous terrain that makes this course visually spectacular also makes it logistically distinctive: both caddie and cart are mandatory, with Santiburi's caddie ladies driving the carts across a layout where steep elevation changes and Gulf views define the character of the round. Green fees are 5,800 THB all-inclusive — caddie and cart bundled — with an Early Bird rate of approximately 3,550 THB for tee times from 6–7 AM. Club rental is available from 600 THB per set.
