Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort

Blue Sapphire Golf & Resort is a 36-hole resort complex in Bo Phloi district, Kanchanaburi province, built on the site of a former open-cast sapphire mine. The mine's flooded extraction pits were transformed into the course's most defining feature: deep, vividly blue water hazards that give the resort its name and create a visual identity unlike any other golf destination in Thailand. Designed by Steven Youdan and Art-anan Yomchinda, the original 18 holes opened in 2003 and the facility expanded to 36 holes in 2008. The four nine-hole loops carry precious-stone names — Canyon A (Blue Sapphire), Canyon B (Yellow Sapphire), and Ocean C (Pink Sapphire), with a fourth combination available. Green fees are 1,000 THB on weekdays and 1,500 THB on weekends per 18 holes, with carts at 700 THB and club rental at 1,200 THB. A caddie is compulsory for all rounds.

Grand Prix Golf Club

Grand Prix Golf Club opened in 2011 as one of the more distinctively themed layouts in Thailand. Designed by Prayard Chinnaraj and Prachin Eamlumnow, the course is built around a motorsport concept: each of the 18 holes carries the name of an automobile brand, and the golf carts are sports-rim buggies styled to match the theme. The course is located in Bo Phloi District, approximately 160 kilometres from Bangkok — about two hours by road. At 7,136 yards from the back tees over a par-72 layout, it offers a full-length challenge. Green fees are 1,600 THB on weekdays and 2,100 THB on weekends, with both caddie (400 THB) and cart (600 THB) compulsory. The club also operates a 50-room hotel on-site and offers night golf, making it a practical base for golfers who want a full overnight stay rather than a day trip.
