The third and most northerly course developed by the Muang Ake Group, the Wang Noi course opened in 2006 in Ayutthaya province, positioned just north of Don Mueang Airport and approximately 80 minutes from central Bangkok. Originally marketed as Muang Ake Wang Noi Golf Course, the facility underwent comprehensive renovation in 2018 — full course re-grassing, a new clubhouse, and fresh management — and has since operated under the Wang Noi Prestige Golf & Country Club banner (subsequently branded 'The Wangnoi Ayudhaya'). At 6,830 yards with a par 72, it is the longest and most challenging of the three Muang Ake layouts. The course is situated in the fertile rice-farming landscape of the Wang Noi district, offering flat, open terrain with wide fairways framed by mature vegetation and water features. Its location near Ayutthaya's ancient city makes it a popular combination destination for history-minded travellers.

Layout & playing experience
The 18-hole par-72 layout stretches 6,830 yards — a genuine championship test for the Ayutthaya region. Flat terrain typical of the Chao Phraya River basin dominates the routing, with water hazards on the majority of holes creating risk/reward decisions throughout. Wide fairways are deceptive: the openness invites aggressive driving, but water positioned at landing zones punishes anything offline. The post-2018 re-grassing brought contemporary turf conditions, and the renovated clubhouse elevates the overall experience above the functional-but-plain standard of many provincial clubs. The course is relatively quiet on weekday mornings, offering an unhurried 18-hole experience with experienced local caddies who know the quirks of the renovated layout.
Tips & what to know before you go
Combine a round here with a morning visit to Ayutthaya's temples — the historical city is 20–25 km to the north and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Book 24–48 hours in advance; the course is not as readily available on short notice as the two Pathum Thani Muang Ake courses. Caddie tips of 300 THB are standard. The route from Bangkok via the Asia Highway (Highway 1) is straightforward. From Don Mueang Airport the drive is approximately 25 minutes — making this a viable last-day-before-flight option when departing from DMK.
Location & getting there
The course is located in Wang Noi District, Ayutthaya Province, approximately 60 km north of central Bangkok. The drive takes about 80 minutes via the Asia Highway (Highway 1) or expressway to Don Mueang then north. Don Mueang Airport (DMK) is approximately 25 km south, around 25–30 minutes. There is no practical public transport; taxi, Grab, or private car is required.
