Yes — a comfortable walk. At 600m, LENGOLF is about a 9-minute walk from The Okura Prestige Bangkok. The route follows main roads with sidewalks. In Bangkok's heat, you might prefer taking the BTS (1-2 stops) — it's faster and air-conditioned.
Exploring the Area Around The Okura Prestige Bangkok
The Okura Prestige occupies one of the most prestigious addresses on Ploenchit Road, Bangkok's equivalent of Park Avenue. The hotel sits directly above BTS Ploenchit station, making it effortlessly connected to the entire city. The Okura is a Japanese institution — the Tokyo original has hosted emperors and heads of state — and the Bangkok property maintains the same exacting standards. Yamazato, the hotel's Japanese restaurant, is considered one of the most authentic Japanese fine dining experiences outside Japan, and Elements fuses French technique with Japanese precision. The Ploenchit stretch is home to Bangkok's most upscale shopping: Central Embassy (200m), a soaring glass mall anchored by a luxury cinema and the Open House co-working space, is the primary destination. The Nai Lert Park Heritage Home (300m), a beautifully preserved teak mansion from the early 1900s, offers a quiet cultural detour that most tourists miss. For the Okura's Japanese clientele — many of whom are avid golfers — LENGOLF is an appealing option: just one BTS stop away, it offers a quick practice session or social round without the half-day commitment of traveling to an outdoor course. The hotel's own 25th-floor infinity pool and spa, overlooking the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, is among the best in the city.
