How to Walk to LENGOLF
It's a 1.5km, 21-minute walk — doable, but in Bangkok's heat we'd recommend the BTS or a cab instead. Walk to BTS Ploenchit station (2-minute walk from the hotel), take the BTS one stop westbound to BTS Chidlom, and walk directly into The Mercury Ville. Total door-to-door by BTS: about 10 minutes. A taxi or Grab from the hotel takes around 5 minutes and costs ~60 THB. LENGOLF is on Floor 4.

Exploring the Area Around Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit
The Novotel Ploenchit sits at the western edge of Sukhumvit — Bangkok's longest and most diverse road. This stretch between BTS Ploenchit and Nana is where the Sukhumvit dining and nightlife scene begins, offering a grittier, more authentic Bangkok experience than the polished mall district further west. Soi 11, one of Bangkok's most famous side streets, is a 400m walk and transforms after dark into a strip of restaurants, bars, and clubs that draws both locals and expats. During the day, the area offers excellent street food — the Soi 11 alley has vendors selling pad kra pao (basil stir-fry), boat noodles, and som tam (green papaya salad) for 50-80 THB. BTS Ploenchit is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, which puts you one stop from LENGOLF at BTS Chidlom — making it one of the easiest commutes to indoor golf in the area. Bumrungrad Hospital (500m), one of the top medical tourism destinations in Southeast Asia, is nearby — many hotel guests are medical tourists combining treatment with leisure. For families, the Novotel's swimming pool and kids' area are solid, and the Central Embassy mall (3 BTS stops) has an excellent kids' play area.
