The best way to learn golf in Bangkok is with a PGA-certified coach using a golf simulator. Simulator lessons give you real-time swing data (ball speed, launch angle, spin rate) that's impossible to get on a driving range, plus video analysis and instant feedback. At LENGOLF, new students start with a free 1-hour trial with a Thailand PGA coach, then pay from 1,440 THB per hour on packages, or 1,950 THB for a single hour, with simulator usage included.
Bangkok has several options for learning golf, each with trade-offs.
1. Simulator Lessons with a Coach (Recommended)
Golf simulators provide data-driven instruction that accelerates learning. At LENGOLF, three Thailand PGA-certified coaches (PRO Boss, PRO Ratchavin, and PRO Min) teach all levels using Bravo simulator technology. You see exactly what your club is doing at impact — club path, face angle, ball speed, spin — which means faster improvement than guesswork on a range.

2. Driving Range with a Pro
Bangkok has several driving ranges with coaches available. These are good for hitting lots of balls but lack the data feedback of simulators. Ranges are also hot, noisy, and you can't see exactly where your ball lands.
3. On-Course Lessons
Some courses offer on-course instruction. Better for advanced players learning course management than for beginners learning swing mechanics.
4. Self-Teaching on YouTube
Free but risky. Without feedback, beginners often build bad habits that are harder to fix later.
Our Recommendation for Beginners
Start with the Starter Package at LENGOLF (5 hours coaching + 5 hours practice for 11,000 THB). Build fundamentals on the simulator with data-driven feedback, then move to the Sim to Fairway package (13,499 THB) when you're ready for a real course.
